Here's a free pattern for quick and easy knitted Cinderella slippers

What did Cinderella do the minute she got home? She put on some comfy slippers. The glass ones must have been very uncomfortable. This is a very quick and easy pattern for a little princess. It's basically a knitted rectangle seamed at the front and back with a crocheted flower. I sewed non-slip material onto the bottoms; this is optional. As for sizing these are a size two. Wikipedia has a really helpful measurement chart showing shoe sizes in inches. So these slippers are made of a rectangle 8 inches by 6 inches.

  • Tip: Sew on non-slip material (optional)onto bottoms before doing the seams.
  • Tip: Puffy fabric paint can be used on the bottom of the slippers to make them non-slip.

What you need

  • 1 skein size 5 yarn
  • Size 10-1/2 knitting needles

Stockingette stitch 8" by 6". Fold rectangle in half lengthwise. Sew together seam. Sew toe seam 3" in.
